Famous Dave’s barbeque chain eyes Tampa Bay

According to a Tampa Bay Business Journal report, barbeque restaurant chain Famous Dave’s is looking to add stores in Florida over the next several years.

 

Per the report, “the company is in talks with franchise candidates all over the state and is scouting locations for corporate stores along the I-4 Corridor, said Director of Franchise Development Brett Larrabee.

 

New locations may open as early as the first quarter of 2014. The company expects to open an additional 15 to 20 locations in 2013.”

 

That’s good news for Tampa (both for hungry people and for the local economy)! We like hearing news like this, because we enjoy when new business moves to the Tampa Bay area.
