No more lift off – Fantasy of Flight closes to public

Sad news from Fantasty of Flight – the longtime tourist attraction will close to the general public in April.

Per the article…”The facility includes more than 100 rare and vintage aircraft, many restored to flying condition. It also includes a hang gliding simulator and other attractions, according to its website. It has operated for 18 years, but owner Kermit Weeks said it is too far outside the main tourism centers to draw consistent crowds, the Tampa Tribune said.”
Sorry to see them go! Fantasty of Flight was an icon along I-4 from Tampa to Orlando for many years.
