Company in Tampa Looks for Internal Relocation of Office Furniture
29 Mar 2019
Not every move is a relocation to a new office space in another part of town.
In fact, many of the projects we work on are moves within existing office space. This can occur for a variety of reasons. Offices may undergo renovations – carpet installs, painting updates or office buildouts. When this happens, office furniture may need to be moved and then moved back.
Sometimes, internal office moves are due to expansion – a department within a company may be growing and will require new space, new furniture arrangements or re-arrangememt of equipment.
The following is a recent request we received asking about an internal move.
We are looking to relocate a couple members of my IT staff to a different office. They have miscellaneous equipment – much of it in boxes with some loose – along with some shelving that has been disassembled. I can supply pictures of the room if that helps.
The complexity of a moving job like this depends on a few factors, such as:
– The number of people being relocated
– The number or amount of furniture and equipment being relocated
– The estimated time of managing the move and installation and set up of furniture and equipment
– The day and time of the move (during office hours, evenings or weekends)
– Relocation distances or use of stairs and elevators
Each move is different. For a customized estimate on any move or furniture installation project within the greater Tampa Bay area, we’re happy to visit you on-site to give you a free quote on our time and your cost.
