Orlando Medical Device Company Consolidates Office Space
15 Jun 2020
A company in Orlando is consolidating two parts of its business – a medical device division and a biologics division.
The intent is to combine their two downtown Orlando office locations into one larger space. Office Movers of Florida was contacted to provide moving services.
Depending on the size of the office spaces being consolidated (and the new space), this could be a sizeable project. The number of employees and the amount of furniture and other office equipment will impact the complexity of the move.
As office movers for Orlando companies, here are some quick tips on how to make your next move a success:
- Contact a commercial moving company early in the process – they can provide valuable info on how to best move your office space and relocate furniture
- Don’t use a residential mover – they generally don’t have any experience or the needed skillsets to properly disassemble your office furniture, keep all parts together during the move and reassemble once in the new space.
- Read reviews of the office moving companies you’re evaluating – you want a partner in your move and one whose past customers spoke highly of them and would use again on their next move.
- Ask how many movers or installers will be needed – a good office relocation company should be able to answer that after doing a walk through and providing an estimate.
- Relocation estimates should be itemized and free of charge!
When we’re contacted about moving projects, our Sr. Account Executive Deric Yost will set up an on-site walk through to accurately quote the project. While on-site, he will ask and answer questions related to the requirements of the move as well as offer insight and suggestions for how the move can proceed most efficiently and cost-effectively.
