Installation and Assembly of Sit Stand Workstations
15 Mar 2016
Do you stand up at your office desk?
At Office Movers of Florida, we move all types of office furniture. One of the more interesting pieces we’ve seen over the last few years is the Sit Stand Desk or Workstation.
Various manufacturors make these ergonomic furniture pieces, but essentially the concept is the same. Users have the choice to sit while working or stand. The monitor and keyboard assembly for their computers can be raised or lowered depending on their preference.
Recently, we were asked to install these workstations for a Tampa company.

Project details
Above is an actual request from a customer regarding the installation of Sit Stand Workstations (see image at right).
These are the ergonomic desks that many office employees (and work from home employees) use to help with back issues or to help avoid problems caused by sitting too long at a desk.
This client was a national cell phone carrier with a local Tampa Bay office.
Sit or Stand — Are there benefits?
Whether this is something you’ve seen or explored, Sit Stand Desks or Workstations seem to be gaining momentum in popularity for office workers across the country.
Overall, the standing option can help alleviate stress within the lower back and hip areas. Most often, users of these ergonomic desks will transition throughout the day.
