Moving Beam Chairs During Office Relocations in Tampa
11 Dec 2015
What are beam chairs?
Beam chairs are the chairs or ‘seating’ options that you see in many lobbies of buildings. It’s when the seating is all connected (by a beam).
Sometime the seating is just chairs and sometimes a side table is attached (like in the image above).
Generally too — they have 3 to 4 seats, though you might see longer ones in airports, etc.
They go by many names — Connected Seating, Bench Seating — or just Lobby Furniture or Airport Furniture.
These chairs are a little more difficult to move because they’re heavier, a little awkward, long and generally not stackable.
Regardless, Office Movers of Florida can move or relocate this type of office seating just like all the other office furniture we move.
Our teams of commercial movers have seen it all — even beam seats!
