Moving your office space in Tampa Bay can be expensive depending on what – and how much – you’re moving.

Relocating 3 employees between floors is less expensive than moving a corporate headquarters with 75 people from downtown St. Petersburg to a new location by Tampa International Airport.

That being said, when a business owner or office manager or facilities manager begins to think about moving offices, one things they generally don’t think about is that all of the office furniture that is being moved will also have to be disassembled, packed, relocated, reassembled and then placed in the right spot. Whether it’s a small move or a larger one, the time spent installing furniture will be a part of the overall moving estimate. When you speak with a moving company about your relocation, be sure to have them walk you through the requirements and process of installation.

Note: not all office moving companies have trained furniture installers – that’s pretty important to know. Without trained installers managing your office furniture, it will take more time to do the work (and more cost) and the work won’t be done as well (which could mean unsafe assembly, wobbly desks, missing parts, etc.).
