Small Company Looks to Relocate from UCF area to Winter Park area of Orlando

Below is an actual request from a customer regarding the moving of basic office furniture — from one location in Orlando to another.

We’re moving from a third floor office (with service elevator) near the UCF area to a second floor office (no elevator) in Winter Park. We are a small company and need about 12 desks moved, three book shelves and one filing cabinet moved. We would like to have this done in one day at the end of March.

*Note: most message are relatively short as they are being entered into our contact form (which asks for company name, contact person, phone number, email and message).

Project details

This is a good example of a relatively standard office move. The client, a local Orlando, FL industrial engineering and operations research firm, was relocating from one suite of office spaces to another — a short move across town. They had just a small amount of furniture to move — a move that required just 2 guys about a few hours of work.

It’s also a good example of a client realizing that their time was better spent outsourcing the move to professionals and not trying to handle it themselves.
