Weather Cools Down, But Tampa Office Moves Heat Up
16 Nov 2016
While the weather here in Tampa is finally starting to cool down some, local Tampa Bay businesses are “heating up” when it comes to scheduling office moves and relocations.
Why is that?
For many companies, Nov. and Dec. are prime times to make changes in their office. For some companies, their lease is up and it’s time to relocate. For other companies, they’ve hired new employees (or reduced their headcount) and need to readjust their office space.
Other reasons may include:
Using up remaining budgets
This is sometimes the case for government offices and non-profit organizations. They have a budget that can be used for many things, but that budget may disappear if not used and may not slide into 2017.
Private companies also set aside money for office work as well and are encouraged to make use of those dollars. This will generally impact office upgrades like buying new office furniture or redesigning the office space for better efficiency and usage.
Take advantage of days when employees are on vacation
It’s not uncommon for Tampa companies to use the time when their employees are away to make changes to their office space.
When less employees are around the office, it just makes it easier for an office moving to come in and work. There is less distraction and less interference.
Take advantage of downtime
Similarly, during the holidays, certain businesses see a reduced workload. For companies who are using their own workforce as labor for the office move, this can be an ideal to approach.
